The Experience

You step out of an air-conditioned minivan as pines and birch take over the horizon. The wind has carved each pillar; your boots find damp moss in shaded cracks and sunlit rock faces where photographers pause.

Before You Go

Trails are rocky and can be slippery after rain—sturdy hiking shoes with good tread are essential.

Bottled water is provided on the tour but bring a refillable bottle for the hikes to stay hydrated.
