The Experience

Arrive in Colombo and the city greets you with humid air, rickshaw horns and a coastline that pushes back at the Indian Ocean. Over ten days this circuit moves inward to the rock-hewn citadel of Sigiriya, climbs into the cool tea hills around Hatton and Dickoya, then drops south to the surf and whale-rich waters off Mirissa.
