The Experience

By midmorning the 4x4 grinds up to Meemure, a handful of wood-and-clay houses cradled against the foothills of the Knuckles Range, where streams cut cool channels through jungle and rock pools dare you to dive in.

Before You Go

Wear sturdy, broken-in boots

Trails are uneven and can be slippery after rain; ankle support and grip matter more than speed.
